Waitotara School is a full primary school located between Waverley and Whanganui. We serve a diverse community of learners and have high expectations of all students.

Waitotara School is the vibrant hub of the Waitotara community. We are a small rural school that generally has a roll of around 40 students. We have two fulltime classrooms and a Board funded teacher who works with small groups in our library.
Waitotara School focuses on DRIVE values- Determination, Respect, Initiative, Virtue and Empathy. We have a well balanced curriculum that is delivered through rich learning experiences.
We are committed to our Enviroschool, Garden to Table and Healthy Active learning initiatives that are implemented throughout the school.
We encourage visitors to come and have a look at our environment, our learning spaces and meet our team.
